The optimum temperature is 10-36 ℃, the minimum temperature is not less than 10 ℃, the maximum temperature is not higher than 40 ℃, the altitude is 0-1000 meters, and the annual rainfall is 1700-2000 mm.

Methods of keeping betel nut fresh
1. Traditional preservation methods
In the past, the method of fumigation was used to dehydrate and dry the original betel nut. The disadvantage is that it is easy to be affected by moisture, heat and mildew. The yellow flower of areca nut processed at room temperature is very fast with aging, and the preservation time is not long. After processing, the taste of betel nut is also very poor.
2. Fresh keeping methods of areca nut
